Civil and Immigration Consequences of Criminal Convictions

Miriam Aukerman, Legal Aid of Western Michigan, and David Koelsch, Director of UDM Law School's Immigration Clinic, will provide practical and legal advice on the civil and immigration consequences of criminal convictions. They will include the new requirements for defense attorneys of Padilla v Kentucky, the US Supreme Court's 2010 decision on immigration consequences.
